   unless you are legal, you can’t get one. Grades have nothing to do with getting a drivers license, bad students get their licenses also.

   No if you arent American citizen, you cant get any id or license.. that sucks huh..

   You’re an immigrant. All you need to show the DMV is your Green Card and SS Card. You take the test just like everyone else.

   every state has different laws about what its required to get a driver license , to know your state laws just google the name of your state and driver license , then get to the official page from that state to know what would u need ….

   here its an example : http://www.mvd.newmexico.gov/ ( all government link pages end with .gov … )

   and this is what u would need to get a driver license in that state : http://www.mvd.newmexico.gov/Drivers/Licensing/How-to-get-a-New-Mexico-Driver-License.html .

   Grades don’t really matter except that having good grades sometimes leads to better insurance rates. An immigrant student gets a license the same way everyone else does, by following the rules for the state he or she is in.

   In many states that includes proving you are in the US legally, sometimes by way of a social security card.

   But yes, assuming the student has everything needed to be licensed in the state, it is possible to get.

   Just as everyone else in your school unless you are illegal immigrant you will not get a license good grades or not.
