Can I start getting home schooled in the middle of the school year?
Thursday, March 11th, 2010I have to attend a school which is very far away from my house and I've already missed a lot of days of school to make up for the work I've missed so it all seems a bit tedious. Can I just drop out of that school and start getting home schooled or online homeschooling?

Control would be the regular book, one would be read to, and the other would read it on the computer. The students would all have the same GPA, probably 3.8 - 4.00+. Each student would get the same amount of time. Then would all be given the same test.

Now I've also heard that if you can afford college and prove it, you will get considered equally. Do you think the chances are the same as a national student if finances are proven or chances are still quite slim?

I'm a teacher and I'm just wondering. I've heard about student-led conferences using powerpoint slides but I'm not really sure how to that with kindergartners. Did it work for any of you?
Well, the kids get to pick the pictures that they want to show on the slideshow. They get to tell their parents what they've been dong in school, what they need to improve on and also show off some of their pictures. THey also get to present the slideshows.
