My family took a cruise to alaska last summer, and there were college students working everywhere. Once I start college, I'm going to need money and a good summer job. How much can a college student expect to make working in alaska, and how do you get into doing it in the first place?

I left high school to get home schooled at the end of my sophomore year in high school. And the rest of my junior year. And I want to go back to public school to get my high school diploma. Plus I would like to be around a familiar environment. What kind of requirements are there on Florida? If possible i would like a detailed answer.

I am 16 years old and have already soloed a single engine tri-gear and tailwheel airplane, but I would like to solo a multi-engine. Many people have told me that a student pilot can't be signed off to solo a multi-engine. Is this true?

It is my first year to home school my daughter. She is very into art, music and role playing so I am looking for a curriculum that will inspire her to learn. I have heard Switched on School House is good but very expensive.
All wonderful helpful answers, thank you.

I am thinking about home-schooling my children, ages 7 and 11, and I know there are different curriculum's for homeschool. I don't know where to go to find out about homeschooling resources or how to compare the different programs. In addition, what resources are available to home-school parents? How can you suplement the social aspects, art, PE, and other programs offered in school. I would like to find the program that is right for my children and encorporate all of the additional activities to create a well rounded education for them.

I have undergrad student loans from one bank that I consolidated, and then graduate student loans from another bank. I am graduating in August and at that point I would like to have them all consolidated so I am not paying 3 different people each month.

What if you have a student in your class that belongs to a very Eastern way of knowing family where they stress the inner rather than the outer world, how would you reach that student and relate what you are teaching to him or her using modern technology?

My son has been diagnosed with a terrible illness. His illness has caused him to miss many days of school last year. He is on a 504 so it was fine for him to miss school. His doctors recommend that he be home schooled this year instead of returning to school. Now that the time for the new school year to start, I am nerves. I have never home schooled before and wonder if my son will suffer. Does anyone home school??? If so what are some things I should know.
