What does it take to home school your kids & how much does it cost? I just need a ball park figure of cost. I would like to home school my son. I would rather he not attend public school anymore (It is a long story that I dont' want to get into right now). Yes, I now I am not using proper language, spelling, or punctuation right now, but I am upset and crying while I am typing this.

I am trying to get a student loan, because I need to be able to pay for an apartment and need to get a new vehicle. I am working but I'm only making minimum wage and its not enough. How do i get a student loan that will send me the money instead of the school?

I am a teacher trainer working with a group of several trainees. I have one student who regularly comments or answers questions posed to me by other students. I feel this is inappropriate unless the topic is opened for group discussion. How should this be handled? Right now I am ignoring the fact that I can hear her speaking while I am trying to address the other student's question.

Hello. I am a sixteen year old junior in high school. I have made the decision, with approval from my parents, to become home schooled.
I've been researching hours and hours for the past few days and have found some interesting facts.
But can someone tell me what the first step is?
Do I order the curriculum first? Or arrange a conference with my high school principal? Help.

If one child is significantly ahead of his grade level and does better in a home-school environment and is being home-schooled, do you think it would be strange to send the younger child to public school (which is also a great system)?

I mean, I understand the concept of building credit and everything, but what is the point of student credit cards? What is the purpose? I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but I don't really get it.
And can you trade them in after you're no longer a student for a "real" credit card? Do people just keep them forever? I always thought closing accounts lowered your credit score?

Im a freshman in high school and i am considering being home schooled. I have very low grades and i think it might help me if i am able to move at a slower pace. Can any one tell me there opinions on transitioning from regular school, to home school?
